After all she had been through previously I think letting her hair down a bit was completely in character, she is a young woman and I think she probably felt safe in her own home/ workplace and in being married, all things that would have made her feel she could let her hair down with no repercussions.

Yes, I though that nasty Mr Whtsisname played the part "too well" for my liking. Poor ANNA, Poor Mr Bates.Apart from that observation I have great admiration for the costumes, the scenery & settings and the attention to detail & the marvellousscript by Julian Fellowes is unbeatable. No wonder the Yanks like it so much.

She was interviewed this morning doesn't sound like she is going anywhere soon, she has made a couple of things in the down time they get between series, as have others.She has something coming out soon by the makers of train spotting so doesn't sound like my sort of thing but I will bet she is good in it as she seems to be a great actress,
