mating game sounds very instinctual - animal like behavior that is unavoidable for most - the only logic really is to produce offspring otherwise refer to my thread on 'homosociality'! - there is no real need to "mate" if you don't need kids apart from I guess the lustful pleasure of uncomplicated sex which can be achieved with any gender?

NO ..Ive told OH if he dies runs off or falls in a ditch Im getting another dog..

They are great company , good protection, love cuddles , dont hog the remote, cant nick a girls chocolate and dont moan about how fat you are what you wear or your cookery skills!
