-11 at my daughters school 1st thing. I don't know what the temp is in our yard as I broke the thermometer but a tin of dog food in a cupboard in one of the sheds had frozen solid. We had -15 at the beginning of this year and it's colder than that here now.
As for the day?, it's bright and sunny, can't fault that

-10 today in Newquay Its sooooo cold!! Washing machine wont work as it lives in an outhouse. All the dogs are snuggled and the 3 litters of puppies are toasty warm under heat lamps.. might join them later!!

Started out at 6 C this morning, warmed a bit to 10 C now, bright sun and no wind to speak of. Heavy rain forecast later in the week. We had the first light frost in the City last night (or early morning).

We have been -6 here today very cold but just a dusting of snow just hope we don't get any more white stuff can live with the cold...

First flurry of snow this morning-thankfully only lasted about 5 mins. Very cold day-although sun shining, no way is it going to get rid of the frost.....

-14 degrees here earlier and I think it's getting colder as it gets light, can't say I'm looking forward to the journey to New Quay this morning. Slippery roads are one thing but I don't want to meet the "boy racers" on the roads!!

Doesn't feel as cold at the moment as it did yesterday! We had more snow fell early evening yesterday - cars left abandoned at the side of the pavements as they can't get up the hill!
