I almost feel guilty saying we have had blue sky and sun today, no snow but feeling very cold.

Dublin is covered in snow, even the buses can't get through and have stopped running, and there's more to come so they say. Maybe we'll be lucky and get the Winter over quickly and have a nice Spring and Summer like we used to have. To the experts I say...global warming my arse!.

Finally arrived here 'proper' snow!!!! Few snow showers this morning, then from dinner time onwards hasn't stopped.....blizzards at times! Forecasting 6" overnight-yuk!

Colder than a lump of ice but the snow has not increased any for a couple of days.

We've got snow on the south coast at last! Started last night and still coming down, we are up to about 3 or 4 inches now. Have fed the birds and will keep my cat Sparkplug indoors out of their way. Oh it looks so pretty out there.

I know Brandykins, give it a couple of days and I'll be hating it too. I'm just so excited that we eventually got some, grandchildren's various schools are closed so they're out having a wonderful time in it. Husband struggled to work and I am snug with nothing much to do - bliss!

Geoff, I will be like you if I am trapped indoors for more than a few days, we will have to talk to each other on here for company
