How can I resize a photo to enter it into the forum?

My photos come out with the scroll bar at the bottom. I'm using Photobucket which I've always used.

Hello Tuppy have you not got a programme like 'Paint' on your PC most computers have some form of editing package or you can download one or use Photobucket but I never have.

l am still trying to learn how to post pics from my iPad onto a thread but l can't do it! I have tried again on this post but it just comes up with letters and no pic!

Doctor, how lovely of you to help me...

I tried copying the ones from my album. I have no problem putting them in my albums! After copying the pic in my album, l tried to post it on this page..but no success.
Then l saw Azz's instruction on a practice thread. I was able to upload pics from my photo gallery on my computer. They were then listed as jpegs below the reply box but l couldn't upload them onto the thread. I hope you can understand my explanation!!
