Re: No work for two weeks

I'm not sure if I like surprises or not!

My ex did whisk me away for a surprise weekend many years ago and had even organised a day off work for me and booked the cats into a cattery!

I had to try and guess where we were going as we were heading north on the M6 towards Birmingham airport..... Anyhow to cut a long story short we went to Dublin and had a lovely 3 days there. He also proposed whilst we were there He need'nt have bothered going to all that trouble really as we did get married a short while after but it didn't last long

Re: No work for two weeks

I don't mind surprise holidays but I would hate a surprise party arranged for me. I really don't like all the attention to be on me.

You ladies are all spoilsports - us blokes try to please you with 'little' surprises and you all rile against it!!! - there is another member on here who also has the same attitude.

Re: No work for two weeks

I am getting really excited now just come back from visiting mum who I now gather knows where we are going

She whispered to my OH had he remembered to buy some Suntan lotion and quickly shut up when I approached them.

OH has told me this much today, its not long weekend its
two weeks he has even spoken the the Agency I work for so its all sorted, he had to tell me, because mum told him I would need to pack more, he said he hadn't thought about that

So I have now got to sort out cases extra clothes etc with only a few hours to spare , I checked the draw where we keep our Passports and theirs no sign of them

I had better get the rest of the packing done
