Re: Did you leave your heart somewhere?

I must have little bits of mine scattered everywhere.

There are people, places and many animals that I have loved and lost over the years.

In fact, I was musing about this in one of my reflective moments recently.

I thought . . . what if each time our heart was hurt, it left a tiny, miniscule crack?
What if one day we got just one crack too many . . . they say we can die of a broken heart after all. Is that too morbid?

No Mups, that's life. Almost all of the phrases we use have a real meaning so who knows? Maybe the cracks can be repaired.

I think I left bits of my heart in many places, but the greater part is still in the maasai mara. No matter how many times I have been there, it's never enough. There's nothing quite like lying in bed listening to Lions roaring.

Hmm, I'm thinking Dongle . . .

Unless it actually 'goes in for surgical repair', I am not sure it is possible to mend cracks?

Unless another love mends cracks, does it?

Ooh, I'm in a very pensive mood tonight, aren't I.

Fear not, I shall be back to normal tomorrow.
