It was where my parents were concerned, they never put a bedroom light on, as far as I remember, and they always kept their bedroom door open. Although come to think of it I don't remember any sounds of rumpy pumpy. I am actually surprised that my mother's actually got pregnant at all, she took prudery to extreme lengths.

I was an angel...like you needed to ask!
Even when I rebelled a bit at home as an older teenager I still behaved impeccably at school.

I still have that slight eager-to-pleaseness in me even now

When you knew that you got pregnant just by sitting on the same toilet seat as a boy ..you behaved. And durex were not mentioned either.

I can't recall ever getting into much trouble as a youngster.
As I got into my teens though, I remember Dad wanting to vet my boyfriends if he could.

My mother's neighbor was no angel, that's for sure.

My mother tells about finding a box of balloons on her dad's bedside table and then going out into the yard where she promptly inflated them and tied them off with knots.

She recalls bobbing them up in the air, seeing how long she could keep them afloat, while others drifted next door. To my mother's utter dismay, each time a balloon floated away, her neighbor would promptly pop them with a leaf rake with no explanation whatsoever.

For years, my mother thought that lady was the meanest woman on the planet. After all, during the war, things like balloons were very hard to come by...

I didn’t know what sex was at age 12 , never mind a condom.
How does a 12 year old learn about condoms.?
Plus I didn’t even know they even existed back then in those days.

She used to sing me a nursery rhyme that went like so.

She was horrid

I guess not a lot has changed. I even still have that curl in the middle of my forehead . It’s actually two cow licks clashing.

I knew about sex at the age of 10.
Never had any experiences with condoms.
Devil or Angel?
