Riding down a River of Rock!

This a LOT more difficult than it looks, and doing it at almost age 60 - on a unicycle - took everything I had!

Nope. When riding a section like that I'm not even sitting on the saddle, and have almost all weight on the pedals. Legs, lungs, heart and abs get the most workout.

I am impressed!
I'd have trouble walking some of that, forget trying to ride any kind of bike!
You have wonderful control.
Keep on, um, uni-ing!

Wow! that was very impressive, Terry

Do you need to rest and recover the following day to treat any aching joints and bruises?

Thanks. I try to ride 6 days a week with one day off to rest. Although I have had my share of injuries over the past 8 years of riding, so far no broken bones or anything more serious than bad sprains and a few hematomas from hard impacts. But for the most part, I can ride a trail like that and ride the next day without too much of a problem, mostly because I'm so used to it now.

What does "tire" me out the most are the century rides I do from time to time, where I'm pedaling for up to 11-12 hours, doing 60-70 thousand revolutions. That does take a lot out of me and I usually need a few days to totally recover.
