Have Your Say - Information

What is this section for?

- It's the place to have your say on hot topics.
- It will allow members to quickly see what others think about these topics.
- On each topic, you have a week to add your thoughts in one post. After that time, all comments are made visible and the thread is then opened up for general discussion.

What is this section NOT for?

It is not intended to replace any other section - so you can still use the rest of the forum as you always have This is an addition. A bonus

How will it work?

Simple:

1 - We ask you for suggestions for Have Your Say topics.
2 - Every Monday we post a new Have Your Say thread about one of those topics - you then have one week to post what you think.
3 - After a week, everybody's posts magically become visible and the thread is opened up to general discussion.

Told you it was easy!

I think it will be fun, exciting, and perhaps even revealing! Who knows who will say what?

Feel free to suggest a topic in this thread. If you agree that a topic already mentioned is a good idea, then please say. Popular topics are the most likely to be included in a Have Your Say thread.

Here are some examples of topics that you might want to put forward:

• Religion
• Immigration
• Xenophobia
• Tax evasion
• Benefits cheats
• ...etc

And everyone else's posts are invisible to us until a week is up?

I can see what Azz's aiming for .. I think.

It's to encourage members who might like to state a view, but don't .. because they feel they might get jumped on. They can say their bit, with no pressure or heckling and move on.


for instance .. perhaps a thread might be forwarded asking for your opinion about ...
What to do about dog owners who hang bags of poo in trees? ....
