As I am allergic to raw fruits I keep experimenting with cooking it, can honestly say don't cook melon it's horrible ! Obviously not meant to be cooked
Grapes are a surprising success though quite nice.

Never known anyone to be 'allergic' to all forms of fruit....what about tomatoes and capsicums and chillies ?

Anaphylactic shock, stop breathing, heart stops beating, pretty dramatic. Epipens and steroids and hospitalisation.

Not as bad as when I didn't know what I was allergic to, I was down to eating just bread and eggs at one time too scared to try anything else. NHS allergist was great she really helped me.

This, presumably is a relatively recent occurrence though Julie because if the reactions were as bad as you say you would have been dead before it was discovered what the problem was.
The usual symptoms of this disorder are mild, being more of itching and discomfort in the mouth.
