Would You Be Upset If You Left A Forum Site And No One Noticed?

This is purely tongue in cheek.......
l sometimes notice if some members haven't been on a forum for some days, it is noticed and comments re. their absence and their return are mentioned.
Yet some others who don't post for a while or disappear seem to fade away and not a dicky bird is mentioned!
So... would it bother you if hadn't been on a forum for a while or you'd left and no one noticed?

I doubt i would be missed, but why should i be, many go and for many reasons, plenty more sites out there

Though, I might interject here .. that
The sentimentalist in me also says ,most people initially join a forum for companionship, contact with other people and hopefully friendship.
So it does pay to develop a thick skin.

I am not sure how many people notice when I am here - so I am sure they wouldn't if I wasn't !
