Whitby harbour at Dusk

Another from last week's stay in Whitby. There will be more. I'm not sorry

This is from our first stroll down the harbour after we arrived last Sunday.

Lovely photo...unusual to see it so calm.
Can be a bugger maneuvering in and out of during angry seas.

I went there about 6 years ago...my one and only time
I was bowled over by the place
I don't think my photos were that good (!) but my personal snapshots became an important part of the Whitby sketchbook
i would love to go back there in the Autumn or Winter months

Whitby is our favourite seaside place.

It has character that I have not found anywhere else by the sea.

Lovely photo spent many a summer there as a nipper it was one of my favourite seaside places to visit along with Robin Hoods Bay Scarborough and Saltburn all top winkling places in the 60s and 70s and the fish n chips were to die for.
