Hooray... RAIN!

It should rain tomorrow...

Rain is falling in the Snowies and is heading this way for the morning. Personally I haven't seen more than 0.5mm since April so the ground needs it desperately.

Looking forward to it - 25mm would be nice.

The downside is that my lovely brown lawn will leap out of the ground and I will have get the mower out.

Bruce. I’m glad you’ve got the rain you’re desperate for! I hate to see plants die, due to lack of water.
It’s cold and pouring with rain here, shall l bucket it and send it over to you?

Not as much as I hoped. It will stop by mid morning (it is Friday 8am)

Re: Hooray... RAIN!

Are you in a drought, Bruce, or is this a typical weather pattern - dry with occasional rain?

I imagine that the forestry service and farmers alike must be rejoicing over that radar...

Stay dry. Or wet. Whichever suits you best!

No not drought yet but the rain was desperately needed, no moisture in the top soil at all in my garden. On the bright side I still haven't had to mow my lawn this spring because it is brown but with this rain it will be long in days.

This tells you what has happened and what will. BOM is a very good service
