Can't believe the Tories have caved in to a bit of negative publicity, and this sends out all the wrong messages about Teresa May's determination to see a job through and her ability to take the tough decisions this country needs.
It's great being employed, you just turn up, do your work and go home. Your salary is then put into your bank account at the end of the month.
When self employed however, apart from managing cash flow, bills, receipts, buying materials, finding custom, and keeping a day book, you then have the pleasure of paying an accountant to prepare your books: so although the self employed might pay at bit less in NI, somehow I think they deserve a break.
There are lots of other ways the government can generate money without penalising those that, after all, reduce their unemployment figures, even when they have no work.
