Well after writing that earlier post about round here being like the Sahara I drove into London to see a close family member whilst I had the chance. I hit Dagenham and it poured down and it as been non stop since. All I had on was a thin shirt finally found a disabled bay near Guys hospital thanks to my daughter who was standing guard over it.
Got into the hospital drenched to the skin.
Drove back to Essex late and the rain just would not stop battering the roof of the car.
Murder overtaking lorrys on the A13 but it had to be done.
So yes I now totally agree "Rain of Biblical proportions".

I have even got a swimming pool at the back of the house.

It has been very dry in our part of the UK this year; the gardens are badly in need of a prolonged wet spell.
