Problem was, she was from the USA and posting on a predominantly Wigan forum, and her posts were so peculiar that nobody knew what she was laughing at, nor what she was talking about.

She too disappeared into oblivion.

Ar't thou a Northern lass by birth, mayhap? I only ask, because only Northerners use the mis-spelling of laugh to laff.

I'm so glad I can make folk laff. That's my sole intention in life and never, ever, to upset anybody.

No, a Southerner by birth. Moved to Yorkshire in 1988, so picked up some of the lingo then happened a new man and a new life here in Wales, moved here in 2009. Don't think I'll be speaking Welsh though, it's far too hard.
