Do you prefer a fly zip or buttons in your trousers.

Re: If you could ask god one question

I'd have to ask him why he put all of those other beings (animals) on the planet.

Was it part part of his plan to help feed us all?

Or did all the lions, tigers, elephants, snails, mosquitos, fish, etc., get there from earlier experiments.

Or are they things which we will re-incarnate into?

Ah, then so no women filling the aisle of your church, Rehab? Which of course leaves the conundrum of where you find them ...

Unless your heaven is our hell?

Religion has always been a Man thing, God/gods have mainly been male, religious leaders and prophets have always been male. Women have always been secondary and only gain prominence when it comes to virgin sacrifices. Sorry but thats what religions are about. If you are female and believe in a god you will always be regarded as second best by its male leaders

Most people have a misconception of God. God is the life force, not a human on our level. What has misled everyone is the bit in Genesis that says we are made in God's image.

Humans do not deal well with the intangible. You cannot dialogue directly with God (per the definition above), we are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
Very nicely put Annie.

Yeah but you're talking organised man-made religions, we all know they are iffy. None of us really need any of that, we should have our own guardian within.
