Thanks Meg, unfortunately old Paddy has now got dementia, has really gone down the hill since that stubble field photo was taken in October. He occasionally has flashes of his old self, but then again he is 16!

SL my Amy had CCD too and lived to the age of 16. The worst part was her not knowing day from night, sleeping all day then pacing all night or standing by my bed at 3am wanting attention . It was very sad but we coped.

If you've got livestock then you need good ratters, and a great pair of hunters they look stablelady... sorry to hear about Paddy's problems though, although 16 isn't a bad innings for any hound....

lovely dogs and they seem to be good friends too. i am sorry paddy is not too well but he is a good age and i'm sure he has a happy life and is much loved, there can be nothing better than that.

Lovely photos, I could do with a ratter!! Sorry to hear Paddy has dementia though which is sad as I remember when Tess had it last year, she was not the same dog

Oh you cant beat a Terrier! I had a jack when we lived in glos I was going to say but she moved a few times and lived till she was 15, a cracker, we called her Jane russel as she was a bitch, bit everyone, I warned them all but they knew best.I have an old Ladies dog now (dont tell her ), think it must be all that gas they pumped into me today, gone to the brain.!
