Funny you should say that, I am going to make a pattern for a carved version of him. I have done quite a few Hare's over the years and did a new design last month.
I was expecting a thread about Pipkins characters, possibly my favourite early childhood programme. The Hartley Hare in this thread looks rather more dapper and well groomed than the puppet character.
