Many thanks to all you lovely people for wishing me a happy 60th birthday.I had a lovely day with my family they did a surprise buffet my OH took me for a drive to get me out of the way while they trimmed the living room up.
The only downside, I must be honest, I was unhappy at reaching the big 60. I know it has to be but it did depress me a little, where have all the years gone!

I can relate though, because my big one is coming up next week, and I must say, I was feeling a bit depressed about it too. OH says, why?? It's only a number and you don't look it, do you feel it? I replied, yes sometimes

I used to live in Eskdale (nr. Gosforth) many years ago and used to do a lot of walking and cycling but I was young and fit then. Always loved Cumbria I still have friends in Workington.
