US covid per 1m of population are much higher than france Germany & Belgium. Were you thinking of deaths per 1m? Cases aren't always representative of anything really given it's down to testing and diagnosis etc. It doesn't appear that the US is really containing the spread as it's going up and up. I guess that's why he is seen as failing.
