Re: Leaving Hospital with Covid.

Do you feel better recovering at home? Or do you miss the security of hospital?

I would always want to be at home, providing I did not need 'nursing', but can appreciate others need for the support and security of being somewhere with medical help available.

Hope you feel better soon 😗

Hi

Hospital is not always the best place.

It is difficult to get any sleep and infections rage.

I am lucky, I am a scientist, I have my own medical pulseoxyimeter and Blood Pressure Monitor and I understand what is going on.

I can self medicate and am allowed to change doses as necessary and then confirm.

I got a going over the last time, I should have rung for an 999ambulance 3 hours earlier.

I listen and learn.

I know what you mean, SF.
Marge and I are also unwilling to call for an ambulance unless absolutely desperate.

Then, of course, there are those who think nothing of dialling 999 for a cough!

Re: Leaving Hospital with Covid.

Take care Swims, I know you hate hospital but I hope you've not discharged yourself too soon. I hope someone is going to look in on you every day and do any messages ect that you need. Like you when I was in for a week several years ago and I couldn't get out fast enough, but I was exhausted and slept most of the time once I got home.
Look in when you can and sleep as much as possible, it's healing while you sleep.
