Re: Cladding removal B3-5 extra !!
"The government will provide a further £3.5bn to "end the cladding scandal in a way that is fair and generous to leaseholders" in the wake of Grenfell Tower fire, the housing secretary has announced.Re: Cladding removal B3-5 extra !!
Absolutely disgusting. There is NO WAY that the UK tax payer pay a penny for this. None of it.Re: Cladding removal B3-5 extra !!
I watched the announcement on TV. It came straight after PMQs. I'm disgusted that the Government has had to step in to help financially as it should have been the builders, architects and developers that are held to account for specifying/using shoddy rubbish. If anything the Government should be passing a law that specifies absolute minimums for all aspects of buildings be they social or private housing stock. I'm also surprised that no mention was made of following the Welsh Assembly's lead of making all new houses, apartments have sprinkler systems built in as a matter of course.Re: Cladding removal B3-5 extra !!
