I waited a while to find these beautiful pansies for my hanging baskets.
Very disappointed with Wilco, Sainsbury’s, Tesco pansies, the supermarkets I visited, seem to neglect their bedding plants...I wanted to buy a watering can and water them.
Anyway my disabled friend and I went to our local garden centre and bought these...
They are lovely .
I have some that have been eaten by deer in the winter but now they have recoved
I adore pansies - such vibrant colours. Both these photos, Pauline and Muddy, look gorgeous! I'm attempting to grow some from seeds at the moment, so will take a few weeks to bloom I think. Happy little flowers aren't they?
You ladies are lucky to have found some pansies that are pretty.
Last weekend at my local garden center I found lots of them in 4 inch pots for sale, but each stem was about a foot long with a single flower head weaving about.
Not at all nicely clumped like yours, Pauline. I will have a look today when I go out. Wish me luck, as I truly want some pansies this summer.
