Friday, fish, so tonite 'tis smoked haddock (cooked in micro - one of the few things I use it for) really creamy mashed pots, and teeny tiny petit pois with a dollop of lurpack's newest olive oil based spreadable butter. Can feel my mouth watering already.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

I have just noticed I have gained a bit of weight lately, not much. Has anyone any ideas of what healthy snack can I have at night while watching my soaps? I am on raw vegetables at the moment, but I am getting a bit fed up with that.

Susie darlin' - eating snacks whilst watching television is not a good idea. Providing you've had a sufficiently large meal at tea time (either sandwiches or your main meal) you shouldn't feel hungry again to the point of wanting more food till breakfast the following day. However, if you need to 'munch' instead of raw veg, what about some fruit??? an apple, orange or pear f'r instance???

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Bought a small turkey crown in the week, defrosted and cooked in my slow cooker last night and will now peel, chop and roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots with an onion and make gravy from the juices of the turkey. For 'pudding' will smother a couple of mince pies in custard and eat them.
