Re: Favourite web sites

It's not even about preferring some post on several with no particular favourite. It is daft to worry about people defecting if a forum is good it will survive the competition IMO.

Re: Favourite web sites

A forum which is concerned about its members defecting to others has a problem!

When you join a forum you agree to the rules. It's as simple as that.

Willow you can post on a hundred other forums that is your choice but as I said we don't allow links to other forums .

Re: Favourite web sites

Many forums have reciprocal link thread so people can post their favourite forums as long as they post a link to that forum too. Works well as far as I can see.

Thank you.
How VERY silly! I have not posted on any other forum where they object to you giving links to others!

Willow, not all forums have the same rules. If you have a problem with this please post your query to Admin in the Feedback Section.

Re: Favourite web sites

I spend a bit of time (not much) on the historical site of my birth city, apart from that (and online banking) the world wide web doesn't hold much appeal.
