I'm pleased we left early in the day now, I hate being on a motorway in heavy rain...

We had the stair rods, and the cats & dogs just a short while ago, and some thunder. Now eased off to very light rain, but I'm pleased the allotment got a thorough soaking. Oh no, hang on, coming down a little harder as I type. Don't think it's finished with us yet.

And it's persisting down here also. Has been raining most of the night.At least, we may not get a hosepipe ban now.
We will be away in James Herriot country next week so may not get chance to post.
