Oh yes, I'm sure there must have been lots of things that were interesting, strangely I can picture a very old telephone, how odd.

I think I was only around five, so it's more memory loss than anything. I'll have to ask my brother if he remembers the outing.

Dressing up was always fun and we used our imagination in those days where we could be anyone we wanted to, princesses, cowboys...

Oh I remember having to make an apron and PE skirt in Needlework classes. They were awful. A bit naughty really, I knew I could always rely on my mum and her sisters to help out and make me things. Sadly they've all gone now.

Well, I think if I hadn't been able to marry until I made a shirt and trousers I'd have been a spinster for the rest of my life. No one would have worn my shirt and trousers!
