Re: Another scandal
Getting back to the original post - I hope Laws does end up in the Courts over this. To use his sexual orientation as a plausible reason and an excuse for doing something dishonest holds no water in my book - it is fraud and thats that. This issue should have nothing to do with what his sexual preference is - I am not worried about that at all. A politician is a public servant when all is said and done and if we cannot have faith in anything they say or do then everyone is the poorer. Climbing down off my soapbox now.Re: Another scandal
Re: Another scandal
Didn't take long for the cracks to appear. Bet there is more than Laws doing the same thing. Yet they all blasted others in the Labour Party for similar dishonesty!Re: Another scandal
Laws has resigned! Wonder if he will stand down as an MP as well.Re: Another scandal
Re: Another scandal
Goodness . . . what have I started ? . . . . the word was an abbreviation, nothing more . . . if homosexuals of either sex want to love each other in private that's up to them . . . Laws tried to get away with the fraudulent claims and was caught . . . I have no doubt in my mind if the story hadn't come to light he'd have stayed quiet . . . all his pals yesterday saying he's an honourable man are a load of guff IMO.Re: Another scandal
