, 'you can't please all of the people all of the time' and as the thread was spiraling into a discussion about 'bullies', joking seems preferable to some.

Good grief! Just woken up from a nap after an overdose of manly bodies and beards at a Tattoo Convention, and find all hell has broken loose!I read every one of Uncle Joe's threads because everything he posts about effects me directly and I dont care who nows it!
If he didn't take the time to do so much of it would be swept under the carpet and we wouldn't know was going on.
To those of you who don't like it I would say,"think yourselves very lucky that the hideous things that are going on haven't altered your life beyond belief"
I know UJ has made a lot of threads which seem to be about the same thing but, they aren't. The number of threads is a reflection of just how many times the less well off are being beaten down.
Please mods, do not stop UJ from posting, but perhaps merge the threads and change the titles.
Just as was done for the threads about terrorists.
Some of the threads will affect us all, pensions for women and the fact that few were told they had to register to vote individually, for instance are no doubt going to be along with his other topics.
Also please, please, people can we have fewer of these never ending battles that end up with everyone getting either fraught to the point of leaving or just idiotic!
Going back to dreaming of beards, sorry for the rant x
