Re: Idiotic DWP
Just one thought. Does this poor young man spend his life confined to his home or do his parents/carers have a specially adapted vehicle in which to take him out? I will presume they do, I will also presume the young man has a wheelchair of some kind. Therefore I can't see what the big fuss is about, surely his parents/carers could have taken him for the interview. Failing that I'm sure they could have telephoned and made the position clear.Re: Idiotic DWP
Well, they're taking some people's mobility cars away, stopping attendance allowance etc so maybe not. Surely it's not beyond human intelligence to contact the GP or specialist and get confirmation of his disability, it's not as if he could fake it!Re: Idiotic DWP
Another idiotic decision by those clowns in the DWP:Re: Idiotic DWP
Yes they do Muddy, those are the ones who make it bad for everyone else. I think that in some cases if you can afford to lose the mobility part of your benefit in order to get a car you must be quite well off.
