As you have seen Loretta, we all feel for you. We've all been in the same painful position at some time, so do understand how heartbreaking it is, but you've done the right thing and not let him suffer.
God bless you and yours, and little Muffin too.

Cyber hugs from me. As has been said already many of us have been there-it never gets easier.

A sad decision for you, Clumsy, but the right one for your furry friend. They do leave paw prints in your heart, don't they. Thinking of you.

Hello, clumsy. Thinking of you and hoping you and Madam ChoCho are keeping each other in cuddles and comfort.

Re: ´My worst ever day

Just read this one ... unspeakably painful to lose a loved dog. I am truly sorry.

I lost my old girl on boxing day 2011 and the pain just ripped through me. I know it's cliche but over time it got easier and now I have another rescue boy who just runs rings around me. I'll never forget how much I loved her though - never.

Re: ´My worst ever day

Thank you so much again everyone. I am quite sure you have all had to face losing a much loved pet and know how incredibly painful it is. Today two of my friends took me out for the day, it really did help, seeing other animals and being with friends kept my mind occupied and I had a lovely day, albeit a very hot one. Next week I will begin doing a memory book for Muffin, I found it helped very much when I lost my loved little Pomeranian. I can look at the book and it gives me a lot of pleasure, I remember that little dog with happy memories and I´m sure in time Muffin´s book will give me the same pleasure. ChoCho is okay but a bit lost I think, she isn´t quite her usual crazy self, but she´s had my friend´s little dog with her all day today and Mr Clumsy said they were fine, evidently they sat side by side on the front steps most of the day. So thank you again, all of you, I really do appreciate your comments.
