Conneticut School Shooting

I just saw this on the news and I cannot believe it, the loss of lives and such young ones at that.

I am deeply saddened to hear of this and will pray for them tonight.

This sort of thing will keep happening while all Americans can have guns.

Re: Conneticut School Shooting

I agree Alan. I am upset when I hear these things. My youngest Granddaughter is 5 and she would have been in one of these classes
if in the USA. Another kid about 24 who has a dispute with his parents
and then goes kills them and their pupils and other teachers. How
long has this got to go on. So sad that such young children have to die
going to school for some nutcase. It will never change in the USA until
they do phsyc tests on people who get a licence to hold guns.
Alot of work, I agree but I am sure the parents of these children would
agree with that. RIP all the dead.

My reaction to the news was shock and anger, I really thought I had seen the last of these massacres in the USA, but it seems no lessons have been learned by the powers that be and the innocent continue to die, may they rest in peace and God give their loved ones the strength to overcome their great loss.

I have enormous sympathy for all the families. My heart goes out to all the parents of those little ones.

Yes until such time that the American public get the idea that their 'right to bear arms' infringes their right 'to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' these events will continue to happen and youn g lives will continue to be lost.

My thoughts are with the children and the parents of those that died, dreadful. Can I ask if you will also think of April Jones still missing from Wales. God Bless them all.

I've got the ITV News on now and when I saw that statement from Barack Obama I found a lump in my throat. God only knows how he managed to get through that with the composure he did, I would not have managed.

As a parent and a grandparent I cannot begin to imagine the anguish the parents must be feeling tonight.

Shockingly sad, as is the fact that I suspect gun control will never be brought in.
