Osteospurmums

I have grown over 100 of these from seed this year, but it doesn't say on the packet about pinching the growing tips out to make them bushier.
Does anyone happen to know whether this needs to be done please?

Re: Osteospurmums

Sorry Mups I can't help, I've always bought ready-grown plants. What I have discovered is that they can survive a mild winter. I've had four plants survive in the garden this last winter and they look very healthy.

I agree with Alan, they can survive the winter...and nothing wrong with pinching out the tips, it makes them a bit bushier.

I find they are very hardy plants that do not seem to mind how you treat them.

Re: Osteospurmums

Thanks everybody. I think I might experiment and take the tope out of some but not others and see which do best.
