Many churches meet in people's homes. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

Remember that a "church" in reality is a group of people, not a building.

An old United Free Methodist Chapel in Bristol is still in existence, although it has been converted to other uses. It was for many years a tyre depot, then occupied by a pine flooring company, now it is a white goods showroom.

The tower originally had a pointed cap to the roof which was removed in 1966.

Not in my opinion, I could not live in such a conversion.
