Re: Call blocking devices or Phones
Yes, GW, I bought the call blocker (cost £40) some weeks ago as I was sick and tired of them.
It comes pre programmed with 200 known spam numbers and the accompanying booklet gives instructions what to do with others.
There is a button on the device to press when the call is answered, and it'll block that number.
I've used it numerous times. When I scroll down my Calls list I can see loads of numbers that may or not have been let through, proof that I get too many of these!
You can stop the Withheld numbers but you'd need to contact all the organisations that have your number to press something (?1470, or something like that) in front of your telephone number, to bypass the block.
I need to confirm that code.
