I fail to follow your logic UJ.
You and Corbyn wish to protect Public Services, which means more tax.
You are getting what you want.
You can only spend what you have coming in, simple fact of life.
The economics of fantasy, spend more and you have to borrow more, more interest payments, and at a higher rate of interest.
Blair and Brown maxed out our credit cards, we need to pay them off.

Certainly not, but (allegedly) 'Father Christmas' was based on St; Nicholas, who was a Russian, so it could be said he was a Communist!!!

It was blatantly obvious that Councils would have to find revenue as Central Government cut subsidies so there could only be one answer.

Again, not exactly a surprise but seeing three different newspapers this week sniping at the disparity between the rich and poor in this country and pooh-poohing Cameron’s “One Nation” rhetoric was surprising to me considering how many of those newspapers traditionally support the Conservatives. stevmk2

HiCameron is a bumbling oaf, but bless him, he does try.
Osbourne is dangerous, far more right wing, and he is backed by some very powerful interests.
My local MP, who is somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun, speaks highly of Osbourne.
He sees him as acceptable, electable and a man who, as Prime Minister, would "sort this country out"
