One would think human toenails would have disappeared by now, we don't need them to hang onto branches anymore, but they just keep on growing and growing, they are a bloody nuisance when you have to cut them, especially the ones on the big toes, tough as steel, what are they good for now I ask you?Re: Monkeys toenails.
The toenails in the evolution of man are a mystery. A mystery of what man was and to what man has become. Sort of like the human tail bone. Does this tail bone suggests in a mysterious way that primitive man had a tail and that overtime, because of its none use this tail became obsolete ?
