Why are we not prosecuting Volkswagon?

Hi

I cannot understand why we in the UK are not taking action against Volkswagon over the diesel emissions.

The USA is seeking $Billions.

We could do with a few £Billion ourselves, so why don't we do it?

I think the Volkswagen case is one of "thou shalt not get caught", you can bet they aren't the only motoring company using the same technology, or am I being just a tad cynical...

Because the "we" you refer to is nothing more than a criminal collective. Criminals in power do not prosecute themselves.

"If only everything in life was as reliable as a Volkswagen", see, it don't do to take in all the hype.

Hi

Yes, it does stink doesn't it?

The French however are prosecuting VW, so I cannot see any reason why the UK should not.

We have lost money, due to lower VED Duty, there is no excuse at all to not claiming this back.

We have had more air pollution, there should be substantial fines for this.

This was nothing other than a massive fraud, done solely yo increase profits for a massive foreign company.

It should be dealt with severely.

Ha Ha, I read somewhere that with Australia's outdated motor pollution code even the naughty VW diesel would be legal.
