Be alert

I wrote very recently about a spate of burglaries happening in my area.
People have said "Oh, we'll be alright, "Fido" wouldn't let anyone in, he'd bark and frighten them off."

Last night on the local news on telly, another burglary had occurred (not around here though), and the unfortunate household dog had rushed at the thieves. The poor dog was quickly stopped in his tracks by having acid sprayed in his eyes!!

The vet thinks he has managed to save some of his sight, but the mental trauma is not so easy to cure.
The owners said it is a nightmare trying to get the veterinary drops into his eyes, he is now terrified. He is also now very frightened of strangers too.

What kind of evil bugger could do that to another creature?

I guess we're not necessarily as safe with a dog in the house as we may think.

I agree Eliza, totally wicked.
They showed the little dog on telly with his poor cloudy eyes, it was heartbreaking.

These acid attacks seem to be getting more frequent on humans and now animals as well.

They came to harm anyone who got in their way ,the police needs to catch them ASP
