China's Dog Eating festival
Starts today .Horrendously cruel practice in China .
Goes ahead despite petition of 11 million .
Dogs are eaten all over China
Lots of these dogs are stolen pets and the treatment and method of despatch is appalling .
I used to think that the Chinese actually lacked the genes for kindness to animals but it it seems there are many locals trying to stop this barbaric custom .
Dogs are also eaten on Korea and other parts of the East .
