A special day for me today as I'm meeting up with my Over50's forum friend Eliza & a friend from elsewhere. We plan on showing our friend the sights of Nottingham - pity it's raining but lots of indoor places to go.

Good morning fellow members what a start to the day with torrential rain which thankfully has passed over now .

Not a lot planned for today. The window cleaner is due he just does the upstairs and I hope to clean the windowsills before he comes.

Good morning all, teeming down here too, so I may go into town after coffee to get a new mobile phone. I just use an old Nokia at the moment that I've had for about ten years and I've decided to upgrade to one of those smart thingy phones, probably a Samsung similar to my tablet.

Crikey Meg, our window cleaners not only do the glass but the frames and cills too....

It's my gym morning, so I'll be going later. It's been raining but hopefully it has stopped now because I shall be walking to the gym
