A good start for NHS Funding

Hi

At long last, moves to be made to get money back for the NHS,

https://www.theguardian.com/society/...not-a-problem?

The BMA are complaining about it, but so what?

Next in line hopefully is the Overseas development budget, that seriously does need sorting.

We could make a start by spending more of it ourselves, rather than doling vast amounts to foreign agencies.

I think this is a good move.
I dont see why there is such a big deal over ID
Having lived overseas such a long time i am used to being asked for ID .
I see nothing wrong with having ID cards.
If you dont have a driving licence or a passport there could be some alternative ID option available surely ?

Re: A good start for NHS Funding

When I went to my local GP's surgery and requested to sign up to their online facility I had to take two forms of identification and have them verified by a Doctor (I have been in the practice for 30 years) .

I don't see why people should object to providing identification
before receiving what I understand is not emergency medical treatment.

Strange that UJ, it is a cornerstone of Russia and the former USSR which you so fervently believe in.

Hi

I appreciate that, however Communism relies on control of the population; hence the imposition of ID Cards on the population.

Re: A good start for NHS Funding

I've no Driving Licence or Passport and I've had problems with providing adequate ID a few times.
A couple of utility bills usually does it ... but I did look into if there was an ID card I could get .. and there isn't other than if I wanted to prove I was old enough for booze.
