British Summer Time ends....

................ at 2.00am, Sunday 31st October!

Remember to put your clocks back 1 hour before going to bed tonight, giving us, hopefully, an extra hour of sleep!

That will be us in winter mode until 27th March 2011, officially the start of British Summer Time once more!

I like clocks and have loads of them, it takes me ages to do the time changes twice a year!

I wish we could have BST all the year round.

Thanks for the reminder Mags, I always get caught out with the clock, I'll tell the Missus, I thought it was last week.

I signed the petition to keep BST.

It's good news here though, from November 1st we close an hour earlier at work!

I love clocks as well. My father also loved them and had some beautiful ones and I found the ticking and chimes very restful, especially the ticking of the Grandfather clock. My mother still tries to keep them all going.

I can do the ones with hands on but not the digital ones like the microwave. My husband has to do all those. Thank goodness the PC does it all on its own like magic!

I too wish we'd stay on Summer time all year. We don't change back here until November 7th, so are only 4 hours behind until then.

Re: British Summer Time ends....

I have a lot of clocks as well but the one I hate changing most is the chiming one! I changed mine at 2 am when I went to bed!
