How to lose $220 Million Dollars in Your Digital Wallet.

Maybe there is something to be said for stuffing it under the mattress after all:

No access to that website in the UK, all we get is this message:

"Unfortunately, our website is currently unavailable in most
European countries. We are engaged on the issue and committed to looking at options
that support our full range of digital offerings to the EU market. We continue to identify
technical compliance solutions that will provide all readers
with our award-winning journalism."

I thought we had left the EU! Perhaps the Daily Mail carried the same news item,
if that helps it can be read here:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...s-FOREVER.html

Or it could be this news item in the Daily Mail:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-8billion.html

Also it's on The BBC News:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-55645408

Plenty of choice of news items anyway!

I.m convinced that these sorts of stories are put up by Bitcoin, who are, currently bombarding me with useless spam emails.

These newspaper/media reprorts, IMO, are like subliminal advertising .

They suggest that there is very big money to be won.

Suckers will think there is an opportunity toi get rich.

Thanks for the link, Baz.

And I thought I had password frustrations! In a way, I feel sorry for the guy lying there in the middle of the night knowing he once had it, trying to see it in his mind, wishing he hadn't wasted the others.

Cryptocurrency is not going away and in a way, already a commodity in addition to a tool.

Other than investing directly in it, the only other way is to mine them. Only those with the deepest understanding of the process who can write code than can out-race other miners will make any money at all.
