Local Elections.

Hi

Locally, our Conservative Leader of Council has lost his seat.

Both the Lib Dems and Greens have made small gains, however the Tories still have a huge majority.

Re: Local Elections.

It appears that Khan't has been elected as Mayor of Londonistan yet again.

I think we all know how that happened!

I'm sure that things will continue to get worse for Londoners, especially if they drive a car.

I'm equally sure that knife crime and murders will continue to increase.

Re: Local Elections.

With a turnout as low as 42% there is the question of "does London actually want a mayor ?"

It does sound as if many Londoners have given up.
Well, if they can't be bothered to do anything about it, they'll have to live with Saddick.

Perhaps they don't drive cars or don't mind being stabbed in the street.

A lot of them DON'T NEED cars !!
Bus stops within five minutes walk!
Bus every eight minutes! Every two in rush hour !!
Underground station within a bus ride !
Bicycle lanes and roads everywhere !!
Shared car ownership for holidays etc !!
Taxis everywhere !!

Cars equal congestion/ pollution/ taxation/frustration

Which nullify all the benefits listed earlier !!
It's a no brainer to me ??

Donkeyman! 🤔🤔

BTW, l don't credit Khan with the benefits !!

Well, I don't live there (and I have no wish to do so), so I can't criticise the inhabitants.

If they are happy with the present situation, leave them to it.

I know I'd be scared to live in Londonistan, or even to visit it these days, as knife crime and regular murders just don't appeal to me.

Each to his own I suppose.

Knife crime in London is a result of Kahns complacency

Thankfully next time I doubt kahn will run again because of the gains made by Bailey.

And the attitude of black MPs who are against stop and search because it targets the black community disproportionately. Considering most stabbings are black on black, it will be disproportionate.
