Both of my dogs were adopted as adults and age unknown. My boy is obviously far younger than my girl. She is a Shepherd mix and has gone from black/brown muzzle to gray even to her eyelashes. BUT she can still leap five feet up from standing. The boy has bad knees and is probably school age in people years. Depends on the pup, not some silly chart.
